  • Inventory & Stock Monitoring: Tracking inventory levels to ensure the company remains stocked for customer demand without overstocking.

  • Supplier Relationship Management: Establishing and maintaining strong professional ties with vendors to ensure supply reliability.

  • Quality Control: Inspecting received goods for quality, quantity, and compliance with company standards or client specifications.

  • Cost & Market Analysis: Analyzing market trends and comparing vendor quotes to identify cost-saving opportunities and maintain competitive pricing.

  • Logistics Coordination: Coordinating with delivery teams and warehouse staff to ensure stock arrives at the correct location on time.

Essential Skills for Trading

  • Negotiation & Persuasion: Essential for "cracking deals" and securing favorable contract terms.

  • Analytical Thinking: Needed to assess costs, margins, and complex supplier offers.

  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency in ERP tools like Microsoft Dynamic AX, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Excel for tracking and data entry.

  • Market Knowledge: An understanding of industry trends to make sound purchasing decisions in a fast-paced environment.

  • Language Proficiency: Strong English communication skills are required; proficiency in Mandarin will considered an advantage.

  • Sales Strategy Execution: Implementing tailored sales strategies for the Pulp & Paper Division to successfully achieve and exceed assigned company sales goals.

  • Technical Product Consulting: Utilizing background knowledge in chemical or industrial processes to understand client needs and recommend appropriate product applications.

Essential Skills for Trading

  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Displaying excellent verbal and written proficiency in English to clearly articulate product values and build rapport with diverse clients.

  • Negotiation & Decision-Making: Demonstrating strong negotiation abilities to secure favorable sales agreements and strategic decision-making to solve complex client issues.

  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency in ERP tools like Microsoft Dynamic AX, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Excel for tracking and data entry.
